The 2019 Times of India Design Expo, one of the largest art and architecture festivals of the country,saw SHROFFLEóN as one of the collaborators involved in designing the exhibition pavilions.

Produced for the Sound Smiths, a company specializing in home theatre systems, the exhibit is envisioned as a light, buoyant structure,set against the density of the program area.

The material palette was restricted to neutral tones, with inexpensive materials being used in rather unconventional ways to create a visual that is highly engaging.The play of materials was intended such that internal spaces appear strong in form and identity.Crinkled foil, the primary material chosen for the project,adds a certain visual noise, that when overlaid with the subtlety of the fabric mesh and metal framework that commands the exterior, creates an extremely unique visual. The bright carpet juxtaposed against the metallic surfaces,completes the space.
